Learners are starting to think about their next steps so were invited to explore careers in the arts and culture sector at the Museum and Arts Swindon.
Learners were given the opportunity to learn about the different types of careers on offer, working through various activities, such as putting collections together for display and viewing by the public and learning the importance of putting exhibits into chronological order.
Learners also identified what types of visitors they wanted to attract to their exhibits and the access issues that came with that. The event was enjoyed by all who attended (including tutors) One learner said, “the highlight for me was getting to handle a Mammoths tooth!
